Why Join Skating Club of Phoenix?

The Skating Club of Phoenix (SCP) has a long running history in the Valley of the Sun. SCP continues its mission of promoting skating excellence for more than 50 years!

SCP is a proud member of the US Figure Skating Association in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Holding membership in the club allows skaters to participate in national and international figure skating competitions and test sessions. SCP hosts various competitions, events for members, public dress sales and an annual meeting to review the prior year. The SCP Board meets monthly to discuss and decide club business. The SCP offers many exciting opportunities all of our skaters, no matter their skill level.

We have all types of membership levels to fit the whole family! See the membership chart below for detailed explanations of the memberships we offer.

SCP communicates regularly with our members via email, opt-in text messages, and through our social media channels.  We encourage you to stay informed by keeping an eye out for our updates!  Please note that no mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes.  Missed signing up for club text messages when you registered for membership?  Click the button below to sign up today!

Volunteering

Like most non-profits, the success of SCP depends on hard-working and dedicated volunteers who love the sport of figure skating and want to volunteer their time to help run the club.  We always need volunteers to help with test sessions, club competitions, events, ice monitoring, announcing, music, registration, hospitality, photography, specialty skill trades and much more. We take volunteers of all ages and skill levels.

Are you a member of a club outside of skating that requires volunteer hours? Great, you can volunteer with us to earn those hours!  The SCP board members will sign off on any volunteer hours needed for other organizations.

If you are interested in giving your time, knowledge or simply donating goods, send us an email – volunteers@skatingclubofphoenix.com.
